Privacy Policy

1. What we collect, why, and on what basis

To provide the account and the product you signed up for, and on the lawful basis of performing our contract with you, we collect: your email address and a password stored in hashed form; your display name, username and timezone if you give them; the boards and guides you save, with their settings and player order; the Sleeper username you enter and the league you select, which we use to fetch that league from Sleeper; and a customer reference and plan status so we know what you can access.

Because the law requires us to, and on the lawful basis of complying with a legal obligation, we also keep records of payments, refunds and payouts, and a record that you asked us to delete your account and when.

We do not use your information for any purpose not listed above. We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not sell your information.

Your connected leagues, your settings and any board you have not saved are held in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them.

2. Who receives it

Supabase hosts our database and operates authentication, and therefore holds your account and your saved boards on our behalf.
Vercel hosts the site and processes the technical request data any web server receives.
Stripe processes payments and creator payouts, and carries out the identity and tax checks the law requires of it. Your card number goes to Stripe and never reaches us.
Sleeper receives the Sleeper username you type and the identifier of the league you choose, because that is how their API finds your league. Nothing else about you is sent to them.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

3. Where it goes

The organisations in section 2 process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Each of them provides a safeguard that UK data protection law recognises: the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses, and in some cases the UK Extension to the EU US Data Privacy Framework. 4. How long we keep it

We keep your account and the boards attached to it for as long as your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, the request is held for a short grace period, so that someone who gets hold of your session cannot destroy your account instantly and so you can cancel by signing in, and then your account and everything attached to it is removed.

Records of payments are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they fall in, because tax law requires it. Anything held on your own device under section 1 is yours to clear at any time through your browser.

5. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
have inaccurate information corrected;
have your information erased;
restrict how we use your information;
receive the information you gave us in a portable, machine readable form, or have us send it to someone else;
object to our use of your information.

Much of this you can do yourself in Account settings. For anything else, write to fantasyedgenfl@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. Exercising these rights is free.

If you think we have handled your information badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.

6. Children

EDGE is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child holds an account, tell us at fantasyedgenfl@gmail.com and we will remove it.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and we will tell account holders about any material change before it takes effect.
